Sex Slave Trade!
In the Middle East, slave trading still takes place, and even online sales of sex slaves occur
When a helpless woman in a distant land, in a different culture, without knowing the language, sees that some days the housemaid comes into her room, some days her brother, some days her son, some days a friend — then with a tearful voice the domestic workers tell the Saudi/Kuwaiti employers, “Please don’t harm me, I have a husband back home, I have a family.” Then the Saudis say, “You are already divorced from your husband, I have bought you.” — I am not making this up; these are the words of the women who return home after facing horrific sexual abuse. They have also said that if they refuse sexual advances, they are denied food for three consecutive days.
No matter how we try to comfort ourselves — to many Saudis and Kuwaitis, domestic workers are treated as slaves. This idea comes from their religion, Islam. Buying and selling slaves, having sexual relations with slave women — all of this is taught in Islam. Now they cannot wage jihad and therefore cannot obtain sex slaves as spoils of war. But they forcefully satisfy their desires with the poor women who go there as domestic workers. Of all the Bangladeshi women who go as domestic workers, 30% return home pregnant. Beyond that, how many are forced to have abortions, how many are forced to silently endure with their mouths covered!
These countries pledged to abolish slavery only recently — Saudi Arabia in 1962, the UAE in 1964, Oman in 1970. Perhaps due to international human rights pressure, they can no longer officially use the word “slave,” but deep inside, the lust for the bodies of slave women remains. Has anyone ever been punished for abusing domestic workers or for having sex with (or raping) them as if they were slaves? Can anyone show a single example? Yet every day women barely escape from there, returning home pregnant. And Bangladeshi believers will then call those children — “illegitimate!”
In Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, slave women are bought and sold on Facebook, Instagram, Android apps, and iOS apps. A BBC reporter posed as a buyer and confirmed this. These practices are a poison to the humane world.
Domestic worker women are still treated there as sex slaves, just like 1400 years ago. Read this BBC Bangla report published last February: ‘They were saying “hamil,” but I didn’t understand that it meant pregnant’ — https://bbc.com/bengali/news-47333684

– Bangladesh is unable to put pressure on a country like Saudi Arabia.
– Many countries take strong positions, but why can’t Bangladesh?
– The Philippines has repeatedly stopped sending female domestic workers to various Middle Eastern countries.
– Nepal, Bangladesh’s neighboring country, declared in 2016 that it is illegal for women to go to the Middle East as domestic workers.
