Is Allah a Just Judge?
Allah wanted Prophet Muhammad to stay in the room of his child wife Aisha, depriving his other wives!
Those foolish believer brothers who often accuse me of spreading falsehood in the name of Islam—brothers, there is no neutral source for Islam. In the harsh deserts of Arabia at that time, there were no such resources or prospects that rulers of nearby prosperous regions (like Persia) would pay attention to it. Most of the people of Saudi Arabia were nomadic Bedouins. Then as now, the Hajj trade was one of their main sources of income, along with looting trade caravans. When did Saudi Arabia discover oil? Just recently. Before that, they could barely manage to eat. That is why no one ever really cared about this remote desert region of Arabia. As a result, there isn’t much rich historical record from there. Whatever events we do find all come from purely Islamic sources—the Quran, Hadith, Seerah—if we assume these to be true history. There’s no alternative, is there any neutral source?
Even if we simply present translations of what is in the Quran, Hadith, Seerah, Tafsir—you think we are spreading misinformation in the name of Islam. What I have given below is a direct translation of a Hadith from Sahih Bukhari. Here you can find it – https://sunnah.com/bukhari:2581 If you don’t want to accept my translation, translate it yourself. So, what do we understand from this Hadith? Prophet Muhammad was excessively attached to his child wife Aisha. He spent most of his time in Aisha’s room. People also knew that if they wanted to send a gift to Prophet Muhammad, they should send it to Aisha’s room.
While Khadija, the influential businesswoman of Mecca, was alive, Prophet Muhammad did not dare to marry again. He began marrying again when he was already about 50 years old. In total, he married 11 or 13 times. He also had some slave women, such as Mariyah al-Qibtiyah, a gift from the ruler of Egypt, who was the mother of his only son Ibrahim. Since the other wives were older, Prophet Muhammad did not particularly prefer their company.
Due to Sawda’s old age, Prophet Muhammad at one point intended to divorce her, but did not. Thinking she would not be able to satisfy him physically, Sawda gave her allotted day to Muhammad’s favorite child wife Aisha and remained as his wife, which led to the revelation of verse 128 of Surah An-Nisa. Whenever needed—verses would come! Once Prophet Muhammad insulted his wife Safiyya by calling her barren and “hairy,” as mentioned in Hadith.
Because of his excessive intimacy with his child wife Aisha and neglect of others, the other wives became displeased with him. If you have any sense or judgment, it should be clear from the Sahih Hadith below. The wives even tried to mediate through the Prophet’s daughter Fatimah. But despite everything, Prophet Muhammad was desperate to give special love to his child wife and prioritized physical relations with her. Here too, Allah made a way to fulfill his desires. Allah would send revelations in the Quran only when he was spending time playfully with Aisha. Tell me, what kind of matter is this? Whenever he desired something, Allah fulfilled it immediately! When under pressure from wives he declared slave women forbidden for himself, Allah sent a verse declaring them lawful! Aisha had said—whenever he wanted something, Allah would immediately fulfill it!
I know, you will twist things and say that because Aisha was young, she could remember Quran and Hadith better. Why, couldn’t his daughter Fatimah? Couldn’t younger companions? Many revelations occurred both inside and outside the house. Do revelations require being in Aisha’s room specifically? What kind of justice is this from Allah—I do not understand.

The wives of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) were divided into two groups. One group consisted of Aisha, Hafsa, Safiyya, and Sawda; and the other group consisted of Umm Salama and the other wives of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). The Muslims knew that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) loved Aisha. So if anyone had a gift and wanted to give it to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), they would wait until he was in Aisha’s house and then send the gift.
The group of Umm Salama discussed the matter and decided that Umm Salama should request the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) to instruct people to send gifts to him regardless of which wife’s house he was in. Umm Salama conveyed the matter to him, but he gave no reply. The other wives asked what he said. She replied, “He said nothing.” They told her to ask again. She told him again on her turn, but again he gave no reply.
They told her to keep asking until he answered. On the third time, he finally said, “Do not hurt me regarding Aisha, for the Divine Inspiration does not come to me on the bed of any of you except Aisha.” Umm Salama then said, “I repent to Allah for hurting you.”
Then the group sent Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), to convey that the wives wanted him to treat them equally with the daughter of Abu Bakr (Aisha). Fatimah delivered the message. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) responded, “O my daughter! Do you not love whom I love?” She said, “Yes,” and returned and told them. They asked her to go again, but she refused.
They then sent Zaynab bint Jahsh. She came and spoke harshly, saying, “Your wives ask you to treat them equally with the daughter of Abu Quhafa.” She raised her voice and criticized Aisha in front of him. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) looked at Aisha to see if she would respond.
Aisha then replied in such a way that silenced Zaynab. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) then said, “She is truly the daughter of Abu Bakr.”
